- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (halved lengthwise into cutlets)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated preferred
- ½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup olive oil or vegetable oil for frying
- Optional: fresh parsley or lemon wedges for serving
Prep the Chicken: Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thin cutlets. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Set Up Breading Station: Place flour in one shallow bowl, beaten eggs in another, and a mix of Parmesan and breadcrumbs in a third.
Bread the Chicken: Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in egg, then coat thoroughly in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
